Rosabel Tan

Rosabel Tan is the founding director of Satellites, a programme of events, exhibitions and encounters showcasing the most exciting contemporary Asian artists in Tāmaki Makaurau. Now in its third year, Satellites has the dual aim of weaving Asian faces and voices into the fabric of the city, as well as providing the production support to amplify the ambition of emerging practitioners, both onstage and off.

Rosabel is also the founding editor of arts and culture journal The Pantograph Punch, a platform dedicated to developing talented young critical voices. Elsewhere, her work has been published in Paperboy, Sport, The Spinoff and Tell You What: Great New Zealand Non-Fiction 2017.

As part of the AAAH2018 Symposium @ Te Papa, Rosabel was part of the Making Things Happen panel, in conversation with Eric NganAllan Xia and Lynda Chanwai-Earle.
