Dr Grace Gassin, Te Papa’s Curator Asian New Zealand Histories, introduced some of the museum’s objects on display and back-of-house that tell the stories of early migrant-settlers and contemporary Asian Tauiwi communities in Aotearoa. This included some of the anti-racist objects Te Papa collected since the Covid-19 pandemic began, and taonga from Chinese, Indian, Filipino, and Vietnamese communities. Each session concluded with a Q&A tea break with Grace.

FREE, however due to space restrictions — capacity waslimited to 15 people per session — registration is essential.
